Joli Farms is located on the south end of Whidby Island. We are only 11 miles from the Mukilteo Ferry.

Dr. Doug Johnson is a retired Heart Surgeon who was Chief of the Cardiology Department at Swedish Memorial Hospital in Seattle for over 20 years. He is now using this experience in the medical field to breed top quality Reining and Working Cow Horse prospects.

He started out breeding champion Limousin and gradually started with the horses. He is now out of the cattle business and spending all of his spare time breeding, raising and riding quality reining and cow horses.

Joli Farms has a state of the art breeding center. Dr. Johnson does all of his own insemination, pregnancy checks and foaling.

A covered arena is located at the bottom of the hill. It allows Dr. Johnson a chance to keep his show horses and broodmares in shape.

  1. Take I-5 N toward VANCOUVER B.C.
  2. Take Exit 183 and merce onto WA 525.
  3. WA 525 N becomes Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry (Check ferry schedule / fares).
  4. MUKILTEO-CLINTON FERRY becomes WA-525. Go 8.5 miles once you get off the ferry.
  5. Turn LEFT onto S DOUBLE BLUFF RD.
  6. Turn RIGHT onto E LANCASTER RD.
  7. Turn RIGHT to stay on E LANCASTER RD.
  8. Turn RIGHT onto S SERENDIPITY LN (Portions unpaved).
  9. Turn RIGHT onto E JOLI DR (Portions unpaved).
  10. End at 1739 Joli Rd
